Denver CityPASS General Information
For those visiting major cities, admission to attractions – such as museums, gardens, and zoos – quickly adds up and becomes a significant portion of the travel budget. That was my scenario when I was planning my trip to Denver. After crunching the numbers, the 5 attractions I was interested in visiting would cost $106.65. Fortunately, I discovered the Denver CityPASS, which offered admission to those 5 sites for $64, a savings of $42.65. If traveling with a family, those savings can add up.
Admission costs are what I paid in the summer of 2024. I provide a link to each destination guide I published, which provides more information on the attractions.
| Attractions | Admission Cost |
| Museum of Nature & Science | $25.95 |
| Botanic Gardens | $15.75 |
| Wings Over the Rockies | $19.95 |
| Art Museum | $30.00 |
| History Colorado Center | $15.00 |
| Total | $106.65 |
CityPASS raised the cost of its adult passes in 2026, so the 5-attraction pass is now $76. That does bring the savings down a bit, but it is still a solid deal for travelers looking to save while exploring Denver. The other two CityPASS options are the 3-attraction option at $54 and the 4-attraction option at $68.

CityPASS offers discounted rates for children’s passes.
Along with cost savings, CityPASS also provides convenience, as some attractions have separate lines for visitors with pre-paid passes. This helps you save time, especially during peak hours when an attraction is most crowded.
Denver CityPASS: How to Purchase and Use the Pass
Travelers can purchase the Denver CityPASS directly from the company’s website or through a third-party vendor, such as Get Your Guide. When buying directly from Denver CityPASS, a voucher will be included in the email confirmation. This voucher can be presented digitally or printed for those who prefer a hard copy. The process is similar if purchasing your pass via Get Your Guide. The app generates a QR code that is scanned at each site. I bought my CityPASS through Get Your Guide, and I found it convenient and easy; visit the site, present your voucher at the ticket counter, and gain admission.

CityPASS offers flexibility, as you don’t need to select the attractions at the time of purchase, and you can visit the sites in any order.

The CityPASS is valid for 7 days starting from the first day you use the pass.
