In 2025, I took a trip to visit Germany and Austria. I spent a few days in Vienna, and on the journey from Munich, I visited Salzburg and made stops to explore the historic Kaiser Villa and the stunning Melk Abbey.

Austria is a beautiful country, and I look forward to returning to spend more time in Salzburg and explore some of its charming mountain villages.

The Residence: Palace & Treasury of the House of WittelsbachThe Munich Residence was a major highlight of my trip and is a site I highly recommend travelers add to their bucket list. Enjoy the show of Munich's splendid Glockenspiel! Every day at 11AM and 12PM (bonus show at 5PM March thru October), the Glockenspiel puts on a show recounting 2 events in Munich's history. The top portion shows a jousting tournament, which took place during the wedding of Duke Wilhelm V and Renate of Lorraine (February 1568). The bottom shows the Schäfflertanz dance; the story goes that the coopers (barrel makers) danced in the streets to mark the end of a plague that affected the city.

The flag was flown at half-mast to commemorate the death of President Carter.

Fort Sumter is the site where America's Civil War began. Visitors to the fort have the opportunity to lower or raise the flag alongside National Park Rangers.

Back Home After Another Amazing Adventure ✈️🌍My Trip to SLC: Exploring the Beehive State I returned from an incredible solo adventure to Salt Lake City, filled with fascinating exhibits, first-time experiences, and memories to last a lifetime.Highlights ✔️ Visiting the Museum of Utah, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, and Natural History Museum of Utah✔️ Standing inside the awe-inspiring Cathedral of the Madeleine✔️ Touring the Utah State Capitol✔️ Exploring Temple Square and getting to hear the world-famous Tabernacle Organ✔️ Browsing the Downtown Farmers Market at Pioneer Park (and buying a beautiful flower arrangement for my apartment!)✔️ Strolling through Red Butte Garden and enjoying the beautiful vistasBut the BEST memory ....⬇️Going to Antelope Island, where I saw my first bison (such majestic animals) and admired the sunset over the Great Salt Lake.
